Ipswich’s market has now been moved to the top of Princes Street and Queens Street - we asked people in Ipswich what they thought of the move.
The market has moved because work to redevelop the town centre square has now started and will be under way for the next nine months.
Most of the stalls are only a few yards from their previous location and are slotted between the Town Hall and the Old Post Office building.
The food stalls have been moved slightly further up to Queen Street.
The food court is expected to become a bigger feature once spring arrives.
All stalls have been given new gazebos with Ipswich Market branding and the borough council is planning a new Love Your Market campaign which is due to start in a couple of weeks to coincide with Valentine’s Day.
