THE man who surpassed Ipswich’s Paul Mason as the world’s heaviest man has died of a heart attack.
David Hone had spent the last three months in hospital after collapsing in his New Addington home, following a fortnight of starving himself to shed some weight.
The 48-year-old was taken to hospital in a super-sized ambulance after collapsing at his home.
At just over 70 stone, Paul Mason was the world’s heaviest man until losing 20 stone following gastric bypass surgery.
