X FACTOR finalist Ray Quinn will be heading to Ipswich for a date on his first solo tour.
Ray, who narrowly missed out on winning the latest series of the popular television talent show, will be hitting the road for the tour in October.
The Liverpool-born singer won over fans with an emotional rendition of You'll Never Walk Alone during The X Factor series and, despite receiving three million votes in the final, was beaten to the top spot by Leona Lewis.
Ray became known for his Rat Pack style of singing and since the show has been approached by X Factor judge Simon Cowell to record an album of swing songs.
Ray is the second X Factor contestant to announce a performance in Ipswich, as fellow contender Ben Mills revealed last week he would be coming to town in November.
Quinn will be appearing at the Regent Theatre on October 7.
