Young girl accosted in country lane

CHOCOLATE and a lift home was offered to a nine-year-old girl by a man who approached her in a car.

The incident happened between 4pm and 5pm on Saturday as she walked along a country lane in Shimpling near Sudbury.

The incident happened between 4pm and 5pm on Saturday as she walked along a country lane in Shimpling near Sudbury.

The girl screamed and the small white car drove off.

The man is described as white, with a thin face and dark shoulder-length hair.
