COLCHESTER Zoo has sent £1,000 to China to help rescue Giant Pandas.
The zoo has sent the emergency funds to the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Centre in the Sichuan province of China which was affected by last month's earthquake.
The money will help rebuild the rescue centres and reserves affected.
