FOLLOWING the resignation of Olly Langham after the 2-1 home defeat by Melton St Audry's last Saturday Westerfield United are looking for a new manager.
The Swans are currently sixth in the Senior Division of the Metaltec SIL, and interested candidates should contact club chairman Chris Cushnahan on 01394 279844 or 07900 691325.
Westerfield, winners of the SIL championship in 1982, 1984 and 1985, are organising a gala evening to celebrate their 60th anniversary.
The Swans joined the Ipswich and District League (forerunner of the SIL) in 1947, and all former players and officials are asked to make contact with the club.
Cushnahan said: “We have planned a cabaret-style evening at Rushmere Sports Club on Saturday May 12 2007 with a live band and buffet.”
