IPSWICH Evening Star Witches man Kim Jansson got off his sickbed to help his side to an Elite League victory at Foxhall Stadium last night.
The young Swede had endured a torrid evening on Wednesday, but picked himself up to play a key role in the Suffolk side's 48-45 victory over Swindon, although the Robins collected the aggregate bonus point after their 53-40 win in Wiltshire on Tuesday night.
“I have been sick all last night and a bit this morning,” he said.
“I wasn't going to miss the meeting, but I have felt better. We wanted the bonus point really tonight, but their top boys were too good.
“It was a good team effort by all of us and it was most important to win. We knew it would be hard but we all did our bit.”
