IPSWICH boss Joe Royle today admitted that he has put his striker search on hold.
But he has not abandoned it completely and said: "I'm keeping a watching brief on the situation.
"There is not a massive list of strikers who are available but, while it's unlikely anything will happen before the weekend, I'm not saying it's impossible."
A relieved Royle saw his team record their first league success of the season at Portman Road last night when strike pair Alun Armstrong and Darren Bent were both on target in the 2-1 win over Walsall.
