IPSWICH Witches' hopes of signing promising Danish rider Bjarne Pedersen have ended with news that he has agreed terms for a second successive season with Poole Pirates.
The Danish World Cup star has completed a loan deal from parent club Newcastle, ending speculation that he may move elsewhere - and be sold.
Pirates co-promoter Matt Ford said: "Bjarne returns with Newcastle's blessing for another year, during which time we shall be exploring the possibilities of maybe bringing him to Wimborne Road on a full contract."
