COLCHESTER United boss Aidy Boothroyd admits he is 'a little bit shell-shocked' following his side's 5-0 home thrashing at the hands of Norwich.
The U's boss, who has now seen his side concede 12 goals in two games, said: "If you are going to lose, you have to make sure you lose for the right reasons - but we just gave them four out of the five of their five goals.
"We made silly individual errors that you wouldn't expect to see on a Sunday park pitch.
"I'm disappointed and a little bit shell-shocked to be honest.
"There's no point crying about it though. We've now got to wipe our mouth and get on with it."
Norwich City manager Paul Lambert was given a predictably hot reception from the fans of his former club and celebrated wildly on the touchline following his side's opener.
"I was asked in the build up whether all the background to this match would have significance and I said no. None of that was even mentioned - we just came here to get another three points.
"Yes I enjoyed the first goal, but I'm like that all the time when I celebrate.
"I thought our lads kept their heads and were worthy winners. We were outstanding."
