IDRIS EL MIZOUNI

The Tunisian midfielder played the full 90 minutes for Leyton Orient as they were beaten 1-0 in their replayed match against Lincoln City in League One. 

Ethan Hamilton scored in the 89th minute to earn the Imps their first win under new manager Michael Skubala. Orient are currently 14th in the table after this defeat. 

El Mizouni will look to help the O's get back to winning ways this weekend as they host Wigan Athletic at Brisbane Road.

FINLEY BARBROOK

The young midfielder played the full 90 minutes for Chelmsford City as their eight league game unbeaten run came to end as they lost 1-0 at home to Maidstone United in the National League South.

The Clarets dropped out of the play-offs spots after this defeat and will look to bounce back as they host strugglers Truro City at Melbourne Stadium.

MATT WARD

The youngster played the full 90 minutes for Braintree Town as they won 2-0 at ten-men Dartford to climb into the National League South play-off spots. 

Ward assisted the opening goal for The Iron as he crossed deep ball into the area which found Aaron Blair who fired home. 

The Iron return to action this weekend as they travel to Slough Town to make it three straight wins in the league. 

JACK MANLY AND FINLAY CORRIGAN

The duo came on as 71st minutes subs for Leiston as they were knocked out of the FA Trophy, losing 4-1 to National North side Peterborough Sports at Victory Road. 

Manly scored a consolation for his first goal for the Suffolk club after he and Corrigan replaced former Town players Chris Casement and Albie Armin respectively.

They are back in league action on Saturday as they host Stamford to make it three games unbeaten in the Southern Football League Premier Division Central.

 

EX-BLUES CORNER

Barry Cotter scored a consolation goal for ten-man Barnsley as they lost 5-1 at Bradford City in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday night. 

In other news, former Town midfielder Reggie Lambe won his 50th cap for Bermuda as they were beaten by French Guiana 3-0 in 2023–24 CONCACAF Nations League.

Lambe is the most capped player for his country and currently plays alongside Matt Ward at Braintree Town.
