After the 2-1 win which made him the first United manager since the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson to win trophies in consecutive seasons, Ten Hag said: "Two trophies in two years is not bad.

"Three finals in two years is not bad. I'm not satisfied with it. We have to do better.

"If they don't want me, then I go somewhere else to win trophies because that is what I do."

He added: "When I took over we were in a mess.

"The team is developing, the team is winning and the team plays to an identity. But you need a strong squad and the players to be available."

Asked if he was aware of any talks between United chiefs and any potential replacements, Ten Hag said he wasn't, adding: "Maybe you have sources. I don't have them."

McKenna has been linked with the top job at Manchester United, Chelsea and Brighton after guiding the Blues to back-to-back promotions and the Premier League.

He's the 10/11 favourite with Sky Bet for the United job - the team where he served as assistant boss before joining the Blues - should Ten Hag be sacked.

Mauricio Pochettino, who was sacked by Chelsea at the end of the season, is second favourite at 2/1 with Thomas Tuchel third at 5/1.
