Pubs in Ipswich have thanked their staff and Ipswich Town fans for the incredible atmosphere after the blues secured promotion back to the Premier League.
As soon as the final whistle sounded on Saturday, May 2, fans poured into pubs to celebrate making it hard to tell where the crowd of one pub started and one ended.
Isaacs on the Quay along the Ipswich Waterfront, saw queues round the block onto Fore Street, with their balcony reserved for special guests - Ipswich Town themselves.
Jack Coughlan, one of the managers at Isaacs, said: "It was one of those days were the staff put in an incredible shift and it was a great day for everyone.
"It was great to be a space for players to be safe and to celebrate and interact with the crowd, who were amazing all day.
"The atmosphere you expect, but even after three promotions in four years, there are some days you just can't prepare for."
Gareth Harper, the co-owner of Bar Twenty One in St Nicholas Street highlighted the importance of what days like Saturday mean to the town.
He said: "The support was unbelievable, and everyone was in really good spirits but also really well behaved.
"I know two years ago was 20 plus years in the making, but this was just the same. It was such a great atmosphere. Everyone was having a good time and were really respectful of the staff as well who working such a long day.
"It's so important what the players do, not just for football, but for Ipswich's economy. You know the economy in Ipswich thrives on things like this. And that's how new businesses are opened, and it just generates such a lot of money around town."

Steven Wells, owner of the Shamrock, an Irish bar in Tacket Street said: "Yesterday was simply an incredible and memorable day! In terms of numbers, we had more transactions yesterday than even St Patrick's Day, which is traditionally our busiest day of the year.
"We were at capacity for much of the day with a queue to get in. The atmosphere was nothing short of electric. Loud, passionate and thoroughly enjoyable for staff and customers alike.
"What made it truly special wasn't just the numbers. It was the people. Our customers were absolutely magnificent. Given the intensity of the occasion and the high spirits, the conduct of our customers was extraordinary.
"It was one of those days which was just fun for all of us. Those working and those drinking. Some of our guests spent the whole day with us, literally!
"On a personal note, I couldn’t have asked for a better crowd of people. A perfect day! For that and for choosing the Shamrock be it yesterday or regularly, to every single person who walked through our doors, thank you. As for yesterday, the town as a whole showed what it can do, how fun it can be and what success looks like.
"Congratulations ITFC, fantastic result to bounce straight back, we are all with you and thank you for everything you do for this town!"
