A special limited edition Ipswich Town shirt has raised more than £15,000 for the club's foundation.

The special shirt, which shows a Tudor-inspired map of Ipswich town centre, was unveiled by fan organisation Call Me Ted ahead of the annual Ipswich Town Foundation game in March.

'Call Me Ted' is led by brothers Steve and Richard Haugh, while this collaboration has been funded by Town fan and Foundation supporter Richard Buss.

After the fixture, the shirts were auctioned off to raise money for the Ipswich Town Foundation, raising more than £15,000.

Call Me Ted said: "We didn't expect a warm-up shirt to raise £15,000 for the Ipswich Town Foundation. But here we are.

"We’re pleased to share that the fundraising shirts we designed for Ipswich Town have now passed the £15,000 mark for Ipswich Town Foundation.

"Massive thanks to everyone who donated via the crowdfunder campaign, bought one of the shirts at auction, or ordered a Tudor print by Steve Haugh.

"Special praise to Richard Buss, who brought us the idea back in December and covered the cost of manufacturing the shirts from the start."
