JERMAIN Defoe, and not Darren Bent, has been called into the England team for the friendly against Greece at Old Trafford tomorrow night after Dean Ashton broke his ankle in training.
Ashton, who was set to make his debut against the European champions, was taken to hospital for a scan to discover the extent of the injury.
