HENRY Bacon made short work of Walsall southpaw Bobby Wood on Saturday night, demolishing the Midlander in the just 53 seconds to preserve the unbeaten start to his professional career.
Fighting in front of over 100 of his own fans at the famous York Hall, Bethnal Green, Bacon landed a devastating body shot that left Wood in a heap and unable to beat the count.
Wood was then unable to reach his stool for a couple of minutes after the end of the bout as Bacon kept his 100 per cent record intact.
“It was the first time I have ever boxed at York Hall and I loved every second of it, all my fans made such a nose and it felt great,” said super-middleweight, Bacon.
