DANNY Batth has become Aidy Boothroyd's second loan signing within the last 24 hours.
Teenage centre-half Batth has been recruited on a month's loan from Premier League side Wolves, and he is set to go straight into the U's squad, along with fellow new loanee Kayode Odejayi, for tomorrow's home game against Hartlepool.
Batth has yet to make a first team appearance for Wolves, but has been with the Molineux club since the age of 10 and has been a regular in the Reserves.
Injuries to defenders Pat Baldwin, Lee Beevers and Pat Baldwin persuaded Boothroyd to sign Batth - Magnus Okuonghae and Matt Heath are the only other fit centre-halves.
