KEITH Deller, Suffolk's former world professional darts champion, begins his quest for the World Matchplay title at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool tomorrow.
Deller, who now lives at Mildenhall but who was living in Ipswich when he won the Embassy world title in 1983, faces number-five seed John Part of Canada in the first round of an event to be shown live on Sky Sports.
Deller, the number 11 seed, said: "I'm in good form and feel that I'm a bit of a bogey player as far as John Part is concerned. I last beat him in the final of the Eastbourne Pro-flight world ranking event."
