Capel had regular keeper Hunt unavailable for this match and it was Reserves goalie Bradshaw who gave an excellent performance for the home side with a string of fine saves which kept the scores blank after 90 minutes. Holder and Horsfall went close for Capel as they started well.
But as Tuddenham came into the match Crane headed just wide and Carter hit the post.
Bradshaw produced several fine saves during the second half with Butcher and O'Toole going close, Collins failed to convert when clean through for the home side and after the match had gone into extra time goals from Kingsbury and O'Toole gave the visitors victory in what had been a sporting and entertaining game to watch.
