IPSWICH flop Finidi George has finally agreed a pay-off with the club – and he could be walking away with as much as £1million.
The 32-year-old Nigerian international, who cost £3.1m from Real Mallorca two years ago, is expected to sever his connections later this week.
George is believed to have been Ipswich's highest-paid player, with a four-year contract worth a whopping £22,000 per week.
That means he is still owed in excess of £2m by the club, so the parties have probably agreed to meet half-way.
