TOWN reserve coach Steve McCall said after last night's friendly win: "It was a competitive game on a good pitch and we got a lot out of it."
Liam Craig, Daniel Grainger, Newton Boyce and a Chris Hogg penalty won the game for the visitors in match played in a thunderstorm at one stage.
Town included several first year scholars and their overall fitness proved crucial to the result.
McCall continued: "The facilities were excellent and Framlingham did us proud. They really looked after us and it was a decent game for the crowd."
The Blues reserves are at Woodbridge next Monday night. They open the Premier Reserve League Southern Section campaign at home to Southampton.
