Brantham 0 Haughley 4
HAUGHLEY continued their chase with the league leaders with the inspirational David Lummis with was pivotal in this performance.
Haughley created two early chances well dealt with by home keeper Parker, Parker again blocked efforts from Lummis and Davenport for Brantham Crowley had a stinging volley. On 19 minutes Lummis raced clear and tumbled under pressure, it could have been red but leniency prevailed. At the other end Gorham twisted and turned into the Haughley penalty area only for his shot to lack power and Haughley's Kidd then squandered a great chance just before half-time.
A minute into the re-start, Lummis chased onto Riggey's pass drawing keeper Parker for his flick to find Kidd square to poke the ball into the empty net.
Parker fisted Flack's far post header for a corner but Haughley came back for more after Brantham lost McDougal to a red card.
Lummis provided the ammunition flashing his cross low across the goal for Flack to score from close in. Frost should have reduced the arrears before Kidd had a chance cleared off the line then Lummis sliced open the Brantham defence for Kidd to drill in his second and Davenport added number four within a minute.
