IPSWICH Town's free transfer-listed central defender Justin Miller declared today: "I may come back one day to haunt them."
The 22-year-old South Africa-born reserve team skipper was recalled by manager Joe Royle from a
successful loan spell at Leyton Orient as he wanted to have a look at him.
The 6ft rearguard man from Johannesburg had left for the O's before Royle took over in charge at Portman Road in late October.
Injury and illness hampered the player after returning from the Third Division East London outfit, but a fortnight ago he told Star Sport he was anxious to impress Royle to thrust himself into contention for a Nationwide League First Division chance.
The Blues boss watched Miller in the 1-1 Premier Reserve League draw with visiting Leicester on Wednesday.
Miller, who was told the following morning that he was being freed, said: "I thought I might have been given a bit longer."
