BOTH Ipswich Town and Newcastle United will have extra pride in wearing their club shirts in Saturday's Championship game at Portman Road (kick-off 5.30pm) that is being shown live on BBC2.

They have been given dispensation to wear special shirts commemorating the life of Sir Bobby Robson, who managed both clubs during his distinguished football career.

After the match, the shirts will be auctioned to raise money for the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation, the charity founded in his name to help fund cancer research.

The former England boss died in July after losing his battle with the disease and a special service in his honour took place in Durham Cathedral yesterday.
