NEW Ipswich Town manager Roy Keane met the press for the first time this afternoon - and told the country that he intends on winning promotion to the Premier League in his first season in charge.
He said: “I'm looking at bringing in one or two players. There are lots of injuries and players out of contract but we have to take stock of what we've got and take it from there.
“I've had a chat with the players. I will put demands on them but they look up for it.
“All I've asked of any player is to be on time for training and give 100 percent. If they're up for that they will enjoy playing for me, if they're not it will be a very brief relationship.
“As long as they have the desire to win day in, day out, I think they will enjoy working with me.
“I enjoy working with ambitious people. It's one of the big reasons I came to the club.”
