IPSWICH Town's Luca Civelli, who is currently recuperating from a knee injury in his native Argentina, may miss pre-season training for the 2010/11 campaign.
He has been out since March and the original date for his return was early this year.
“Hopefully Luca will be back around September time,” said Ipswich manager Roy Keane.
“I've known players to be out two years and then come back strong.”
Town players are expected to get the weekend off, but will be training today and tomorrow with no winter sun trip planned before they play their next match at bottom-of-the-table Peterborough on Tuesday.
