IPSWICH Town's incredible undefeated home run stretched to 17 with a stunning victory over high-flying West Brom.
Town's deserved opener came from a lovely piece of passing play which climaxed with Liam Trotter crossing for David Wright to turn his header past the keeper, for only his second goal of the season.
Town's second came from another defender when skipper Jason De Vos got round the back of the Baggies defence to head in a Gavin Williams free kick, six minutes from time.
An entertaining first half produced a host of chances for both sides, and plenty of misplaced passes.
Pablo Counago hit a post for Ipswich while Kevin Phillips bounced a shot of the top of the crossbar.
Phillips also had an effort tipped over the bar by Neil Alexander.
Gavin Williams went close with a header and a shot while Jon Walters blazed over the bar.
