IPSWICH Town reserves beat Northampton reserves 6-4 in a thrill-a-minute clash at Portman Road today.

Connor Wickham (2), Jack Ainsley, Ed Upson, Ronan Murray and Jamie Griffiths notched Ipswich's goals, with the Blues at one stage 4-0 ahead.

But Northampton got it back to 5-4 before Murray struck a sixth.
