Kevin Painter through to second round of PDC World Championships

Ipswich Town fan Kevin Painter is safely through to the second round of the PDC World Championship, on Thursday.

The Billericay-born thrower made short work of Germany’s Tomas Seyler 3-0, to set up a second-round clash with Australian Paul Nicholson on Sunday afternoon.

Ipswich’s Mervyn King who also won his first round game at Alexandra Palace, against the USA’s Darin Young, will face Ricky Evans on Monday evening.
