LEISTON improved their chances of promotion from the First Division of the Jewson League with this nararow win.
After 38 minutes Leiston were adjudged to have fouled and Eaton scored from the spot kick.
Leiston levelled before the break. A corner caused confusion and Newson headed in.
Leiston forced the pace in the second half and Newson scored again from the spot after a poor challenge by a defender. Dunnett made an acrobatic one handed save as both sides created half chances.
Swann shot early as he ran clear of the Leiston defence only to see the ball bounce wide with the goal at his mercy.
