CRYSTAL PALACE 1 IPSWICH TOWN 1
IPSWICH suffered another night of frustration as they drew for the third time in a week.
Marcus Bent's excellent leveller on 67 minutes earned Town a point at Selhurst Park.
But despite a good second half, the Blues seldom looked like winning against a Palace side who dominated the first period.
Trevor Francis's home side thoroughly deserved the half-time lead given them by Andy Johnson's 20th-minute header.
Bent's equaliser keeps Ipswich in seventh place, just outside the play-off zone. But three points out of a possible nine in the past seven days is not promotion form.
