TOMMY Miller is today expected to sign for Ipswich Town once he has completed a medical.
Although Blues boss Jim Magilton categorically denied on Friday that he was making a move to sign Miller, it emerged this morning that the former Town midfielder was in fact back at Portman Road.
The 28-year-old will join as a free agent after being released by newly promoted Sunderland at the end of last season.
Miller moved to the Black Cats on a Bosman free in 2005 after knocking back offers from Celtic, Wigan, Leeds and Crystal Palace to join his hometown club.
He originally signed for Ipswich from Hartlepool in a deal worth just under £1m in the summer of 2001.
