After their promotion to Division One of the Winter League, Felixstowe travelled with a small squad to Sudbury on Saturday.
In all, there were 25 personal bests and 14 first places for Felixstowe. James Taylor (13 and under) and Rob Smith (11 and under) were particularly strong, swimming all the individual races in their age groups as well as the relays.
Taylor came first in the 13&U 100m freestyle in 1.16.99 seconds, while Smith came first in the 11&U 50m breaststroke in 53.25 seconds.
There were also fantastic swims from Alice Sherwin who came first in the 10 and under 50m breaststroke (57.3s) and also Donna Clark who came first in the 12 and under 50m breaststroke (46.19s).
Felixstowe now look forward to the next round at Lowestoft.
Summer League first round results: 1 Felixstowe 209 points, 2 Great Yarmouth B 203, 3 Lowestoft and Oulton Broad C 193, 4 Sudbury 177.
