Two East Anglian athletes are in action this afternoon at the Rio Paralympics.
Swimmer Ryan Crouch and boccia player Evie Edwards are competing at 2.58pm and 3pm respectively.
Edwards, from Ipswich, is taking part in the bronze medal match for the Boccia mixed pairs against Thailand.
Manningtree swimmer Crouch, who often trains at Crown Pools in Ipswich, will be going in lane six of heat one in the men’s S9 100metres freestyle, hoping to reach the final later today.
Paralympics GB is currently second in the medal table with 23 golds contributing to an overall total of 56.
We filmed an interview with Ryan Crouch before we flew out to Brazil – see here for part one and here for part two.
