SUNDAY football will not improve its rather tarnished image with the events witnessed in the Ipswich Flare Recruitment League Senior Cup semi-final last weekend.
Around 40 people came on to the field - club officials, substitutes and spectators included - at one time and an unruly free-for-all took place.
Referee Mike Hamilton sent off one FC McGinty player for allegedly stamping and then throwing a punch in a game against Kelsale Social Club.
The game ended in a 2-0 win for McGintys - with both clubs being reported to Suffolk FA.
