SOCCER: The Metaltec SIL has confirmed that both Crane Sports and Westerfield United will be promoted back to senior football next season.They finished first and second in the First Division last term and still have work to do on their grounds to bring them up to the necessary standard.
THE Metaltec SIL has confirmed that both Crane Sports and Westerfield United will be promoted back to senior football next season.
They finished first and second in the First Division last term and still have work to do on their grounds to bring them up to the necessary standard.
SIL chief executive Alan Gorham said today: "With the support of the owners of their respective grounds we have a bond arrangement in operation with both clubs that they will have everything in order by the
deadline on August 5.
"Consequently, the grounds committee is recommending to the management committee that Crane Sports and Westerfield be accepted into the Senior Division."
