HADLEIGH captain John Squirrell is hoping to make a return to the first XV before the end of the season but knows he could have his work cut out getting back in the team.
Squirrell has been sidelined for much of the current campaign with a shoulder injury but wants to help Hadleigh finish as high as they can in Eastern Counties Two with third place up for grabs.
“I'm hoping to get back before the end of the season - that's the aim.
“Saying that, the three lads in the back row have been playing very well and it's going to be difficult to get back in.
“I've got a match with some old boys in a couple of weekends time and if I can get through that then I'll try and get back in the Hadleigh team.”
