Hundreds of riders are set to pedal their way around Suffolk this weekend for the fourth annual Crafted Classique cycling extravaganza.

The event will take place on Saturday, August 12, with participants able to complete 55km, 100km or 100mile routes around the county, all starting at Ipswich Waterfront.

The charity partner for this year’s sportive is St Elizabeth Hospice, which relies on donations and provides care to people from Suffolk and Norfolk with serious, progressive illnesses.

Ian Miller, of Crafted, said: “We’re hugely proud of how the Crafted Classique has developed in just a few years to become one of the largest sportives in the region which attracts hundreds of cyclists of all abilities.

“We’re confident that this year is going to be even better and bigger with close to 1,000 riders taking part – many of whom will be helping to raise funds for St Elizabeth Hospice.”

Riders can register online here before 10am on Friday, August 11, and can also sign up on the day.
