HOLDERS Stowmarket Town will be attempting to make it a hat-trick of wins in the Churchman Cup when they play Ipswich Athletic in the final at Woodbridge Town tomorrow.

Athletic have acquitted themselves well, beating Whitton Utd and Woodbridge Town to get to the final.

Jewson League Stowmarket will be wary of an upset. The finals of the other two Woodbridge Knock-Out Cups will also be played tomorrow with Woodbridge Athletic A facing Ipswich Exiles Res in the Ross Taylor Cup and Haughley United Reserves taking on Needham Market Res in the Peel Cup.

MANY football fans will be interested in items being auctioned off for the Lawrence Hare fund at Foxhall Stadium, Ipswich on Thursday May 30.

The Evening Star Witches are staging a special meeting for the injured speedway rider who has been left paralysed after crashing at Newport on April 14.

The auction will be held in the bar starting at 6.30pm, but bids can be made prior to the night.

There will be numerous coveted speedway items under the hammer, along with a number of football items.

Included will be a signed Marcus Stewart Ipswich Town shirt, a signed Arsenal football, a signed Arsenal Champions League shirt, a signed Tony Adams Arsenal shirt and an England shirt signed by all the players.
