SUFFOLK gave an impressive display to overwhelm Hertfordshire in this East Anglian Counties Under 18 match at Hadleigh.
The opening goal came in the 20th minute with Donovan (Hadleigh Utd) scoring with a volley. Hertfordshire came close to an equaliser as an effort from Lane (Stevenage Borough) was brilliantly kept out by goalkeeper Jones (Bury Town) just before the interval.
Suffolk dominated the second period and a powerful header by Brooks (Bury Town) increased the lead after 46 minutes. A cool finish by Thorogood (Bury Town), made it 3-0 after 57 minutes.
The fourth goal came in the 65th minute as Snell (Bury Town) was fouled in the area and Thorogood scored from the spot.
