The 10-year-old impressed in the North of England Prep Schools' match against their Southern counterparts at Rugby School despite losing. Martin Myers-Allen, headmaster, said Jolyon had been a credit to the school and the coaches that have overseen his progress.

“Jolyon's selection was a wonderful opportunity for yet another of our pupils to play at the very highest level.”
