THREE member of Ipswich Town's FA Youth Cup-winning side are to be released by the club.

Aidan Collins, Liam Craig and Cathal Lordan will all leave Portman Road in June when their contracts expire, but by making a decision now it may enable them to get fixed up with another club in the meantime.

Collins is the only one to have played in the first team, making five appearances, the most recent coming in the 2-2 draw at Stoke on January 2.

Craig captained the Town youngsters to their unforgettable victory over Southampton in the two-legged final of the FA Youth Cup last April, while Lordan scored both goals in the first leg at St Mary's that ended 2-2.

Meanwhile, 19-year-old Irish defender Gerard Nash is to join Hartlepool on a month's loan from tomorrow.

Nash, whose progress has been blighted by injuries, has made just one first-team appearance.
