RIDGEONS League treasurers will be keeping their fingers crossed that the weather improves between now and Boxing Day.

If matches go ahead on Tuesday they are likely to attract some of the biggest attendances of the season - with football followers looking to enjoy some fresh air after the Christmas festivities.

Ipswich Wanderers are looking to move up the Premier Division table after the recent significant signings made by manager John Clarkson.

And they will be hoping to get the better of Felixstowe and Walton United at Humber Doucy Lane in a match that kicks-off at noon.

Woodbridge Town are at home to Leiston with an 11am start, while Needham Market kick-off at noon when they entertain Newmarket Town.

Walsham-le-Willows versus Debenham Leisure Centre could have a big bearing on the promotion issues from the First Division (kick-off 3pm), while Whitton United can expect a bigger than usual attendance when Stowmarket Town visit King George V Field for a 1.30pm start.
