The Saturdays - Ipswich Regent Theatre last night

AN excitable and largely teenage audience were treated to top performance from The Saturdays at the Ipswich Regent on Friday night.

The group's soaring popularity was clear for all to see and hear as the screams of a sell out audience filled the theatre as the girls took to the stage.

Frankie, Vanessa, Una, Mollie and Rochelle sang all their instantly recognisable hits including Issues, Up, If this is love and Just Can't get enough which was released in aid of Comic Relief earlier this year.

The girls had the young audience in the palm of their hands.

With an array of outfits to suit every song and backed by a talented band, the evening was packed with entertainment.

Each audience member left with a smile on their and the many catchy tunes playing in their heads.

An added treat was an impressive set - direct from the girls' recent arena tour which filled the Regent stage and added to the performance.

The audience reaction said it all - fans were left asking when the girls were coming back to town.

MARK WHITING.
