The 19-year-old maths and economics student, received 43% of the public vote.
She had been up for eviction along with three other housemates after failing a secret wedding task.
Stephanie, who sings and plays guitar in a band called Kinky Minks, had declared that she wanted to be the most famous housemate ever.
The student got an earlier taste of fame when she appeared on TV at the age of 13 in Popstars: The Rivals.
When producers discovered she lied about her age she was forced to leave the show and miss out on a chance of becoming a member of Girls Aloud.
