Saturday’s Streetwise Inc Live 2 is definitely a show worth making a song and dance about.

More than 100 students aged from three to 25 from around the region will come together at Felixtowe’s Spa Pavilion from 7.30pm to perform everything from street dance and hip hop to musical theatre and comedy.

Ipswich Operatics will also be performing on the night.

The high octane, sizzling, singing and dancing spectacular is the brainchild of Streetwise Inc’s Suzie Lowe, who has been working with her students at Ipswich’s Northgate and Felixstowe’s Deben schools for the last couple of months.

As well as choreographing the show she’s doing a couple of routines and songs.

She’s currently in the middle of pantomime rehearsals, where she plays the baddie as well as doubling up in the ensemble. Last week she was busy taking part in BBC Radio Suffolk’s Big Night Out.

With so much experience it must be getting easier putting these shows together?

“No,” she laughs while surrounded by about a hundred costumes in her living room, making sure they’re ready to go to the theatre.

“Definitely not. It’s definitely good fun and seeing the results is lovely. The kids absolutely love performing it’s a real nice thing for them. It’s going to be a fun evening.”
