Fabio Wardley wowed by Ipswich garage's car makeover

Heavyweight boxer Fabio Wardley said he is delighted with his transformed Range Rover- and it's all thanks to a ‘mad scientist’ Ipswich garage owner.  

Mr Wardley left the Range Rover with Mark Beadsworth, owner of Ipswich Alloy Wheels & Smart Repair Centre, some three weeks ago. 

“I have known Mark for a little while, and I knew that he was something of a mad scientist when it comes to cars,” explained Mr Wardley, 28. 

“I gave him free reign to do what he liked with it. I said, make it nastier and more aggressive- and he has more than met the mark.”

Mr Wardley collected the Range Rover on Tuesday afternoon, and said he “absolutely loved” the result. 

“It’s an honour to have worked with a champion,” said Mr Beadsworth (sometimes known as 'Beanie'). 

“Fabio is a tough guy, and we wanted him to have a tough car. 

“So, we’ve given it a complete makeover. It’s got new bumpers, front and rear, and a new exhaust. 

“We’ve replaced the side panels, the rear lights, and added calipers. 

“Then, we have added badges to it, and polished it with ceramic protection.”

Mr Beadsworth has been working flat out on the Range Rover with his team member, Ross Littlewood, who also worked with him to transform an Audi for Peter Andre, a present for the singer’s son, Junior. 

“It’s nice that these celebrities trust us enough to give me free rein,” said Mr Beadsworth. 

“I always say, it’s a circle of trust. We have good taste, and that is reflected in the trust they put in us.” 

Mr Beadsworth has previously sourced a Cadillac for the TV show, The Only Way Is Essex. He and his son, Dylan Beadsworth, were even invited to be filmed at an American-themed party for the hit reality show.
