Two restaurants have won big in a national restaurant and takeaway awards.
Chequers Indian Longue won two awards and Eastern Spice won one award at the Asian Restaurant and Takeaway Awards 2023.
Located at 19 Stowmarket Road in Great Blakenham, Chequers Indian Lounge won the National Chef of the Year award and Chef of the Year for the East Anglia region.
The restaurant has also been nominated in the Asian Curry Awards 2023.

Eastern Spice, located on Woodbridge Road in Ipswich, won the award for Takeaway of the Year for the East Anglian region.
Mohammed Munim, founder of the Asian Restaurant and Takeaway Awards, said: "I would like to congratulate all of the winners and finalists of the ARTA 2023- the Pan Asian restaurants, takeaways, and chefs who are the pride of the UK's hospitality industry".
The 'Champion of Champions' at this year's awards was The Milnrow Restuarant in Rochdale,
