A Suffolk bakery is expanding to open a second location in Ipswich town centre.

Rebecca Cockett first launched Mama Bears Cake Bar nearly five years ago after the birth of her daughter.

"I was struggling with postpartum depression and baking became my therapy," said Mrs Cockett.

Just over two years ago, the firm's first bricks-and-mortar bakery opened in the High Street in Saxmundham and stands out with its pastel pink exterior.

"We were so lucky through Covid," said Mrs Cockett. "We were considered a food delivery service so could stay open. It was amazing for everyone".
