This picture from the A14 shows the aftermath of a lorry overturning near Ipswich.
Police were called to the crash on the eastbound carriageway near Copdock at about 12.50pm on Wednesday.
According to the AA Traffic Map there were delays of around 20 minutes in the area.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said the lorry had overturned near the entry slip road.
A full closure was briefly put in place, but that has since been lifted.
The vehicle was recovered at around 7pm.
